In a line of night-time attacks by Taliban in four provinces of Afghanistan, 37 people have been killed and 6 wounded. Farid Bakhtwar, the head of provincial council of Farah province in western Afghanistan, 29 policemen and other personnel of Afghan National Army were killed.
While in Farah, the Taliban fighters opened fire on many check posts, in the northern province of Samangan, gunmen had attacked a security post which led to a lengthy battle between two sides. 6 security force personnel lost their lives and 14 were wounded. In Jalrez district, two people were killed by the Taliban.
Taliban has recently become very active in Afghanistan and have given shape to multiple attacks against the security forces across the country.
