South Sudan: Passenger plane crashes, several dead

Six people have died as a small passenger plane from Juba to Yirol crashed into the river. The plane was carrying 19 passengers.

6 bodies have been recovered from water so far while the hunt is on for rest 17, who are also said to have been killed in the accident.

The plane was flying from the Juba International Airport to the City of Yirol when it crashed.

The witnesses are removing bodies from water. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
