Russia expels 59 diplomats from 23 countries

Russia has finally given a tough reply to 23 other Western nations after expelling 60 US diplomats over the snowballed issue of nerve agent poisoning of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury. Russia stated that it was a measured response to the baseless accusation of the UK which had ultimately persuaded the international community to believe that Russia was behind the attack.

Russia has stated that it was expelling diplomats from all the nations which had expelled Russian diplomats in a reciprocal action. Russia summoned the senior envoys from all the above nations including  Australia, Albania, France, Spain, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Poland, etc. and all other Western nation who had taken a step against Russian diplomats.

The diplomats on their arrival at the Russian Foreign Ministry’s building were given protest notes and told that Russia is expelling corresponding staff working in the embassies of those respective countries in Russia. Britain slammed Russian response and stated that Moscow had violated an international law by attempting murder of a former spy with military grade nerve agent of Soviet-era on British soil. The US also responded immediately to Kremlin response of expulsions and stated that it clearly shows Russia is not interested in diplomacy.

Russia has denied all allegations which it states have come without proof and is a part of a larger West plan to disrupt East-West relations and thereby completely isolate Moscow.
