Russian Indictments and Trump’s Tweetstorm

President Donald Trump unleashed a storm of tweets focused on intensifying probe on Russian meddling in the US Presidential election in 2016 which pushed voters towards Trump and denigrated their own candidate Hillary Clinton. The tweets spared no one from the previous government to FBI and even his own National Security Advisor.

Trump, in fact, rested his plea that the evidence clearly suggests that there was no collusion and the indictments clearly acquitted him. However, the investigation of Mueller still continues to find evidence of collusion between Trump Campaign and Russia. The Tweetstorm was full of mistakes and profanity acted as a window to Trump’s mindset to the world. A recent tweet, states, “If it was the GOAL of Russia to create discord, disruption and chaos within the U.S. then, with all of the Committee Hearings, Investigations and Party hatred, they have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. They are laughing their asses off in Moscow. Get smart America!”

The tweets covered almost all frustrations in Trump’s mind but missed spelling out the consequences which Russia which face and how will his administration protect US electoral process. The intelligence agencies have warned that if left unattended the attacks will continue to happen.

Trump although blamed the investigations, their motives and its revelations but did not mention the interference even in one tweet. The tweets occurred at a very challenging time for the President who is dealing with a number of professional and personal scandals.
